With the amendment in 'Consumer Protection Act 2019' the pecuniary jurisdiction of the Consumer Courts have been revised. Consequently nearly all medical matters would be at District commissions.
Additionally with a shift towards E-filing and hearing by video conferencing it would be possible for Dr. Sunil Khattri and Associates to help their PAN INDIA clients from Delhi itself.

Having completed his LL.B. from the renowned Campus Law Center, Faculty of Law, Delhi University, in the year 2020, S. K. Sarathi (Advocate) has been working closely with the Litigation Team at Dr. Khattri & Associates and is primarily involved with the handling of Civil & Criminal matters pertaining to the field of Medical Negligence and the legal matters under the newly introduced The Surrogacy (Regulation) Act, 2021. He routinely assists the team with research pertaining to Civil, Criminal & Commercial Diasputes along with the drafting and reviewing of varied legal documents.
Coming from a sound legal background, he has been practicing law since 2021. Prior to joining Dr. Khattri & Associates, he was working with HRPS & Associates, New Delhi and was responsible for handling corporate legal matters under the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, 2016 primarily before the National Company Law Tribunal, New Delhi. He also has sufficient exposure to litigating matters under the Electricity Act, 2003, the Domestic Violence Act, 2005 and the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, among others.
He has been practicing and has been representing a wide range of clients before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi, the Hon’ble High Court of Patna, District Courts in Delhi-NCR, National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, NCLT, NCLAT and various other quasi-judicial bodies/tribunals.
